2018-2020 Hyundai i30N IFX Oil Cooler Kit

One of the most overlooked things on the i30 N from factory is how high the engine oil temps can reach with spirited driving, and especially track work. A lot of customers report back that it's very common for them to see oil temps as high as 130℃.

These high oil temps won't hurt your engine in the short term however, if the engine oil is regularly operating above 100°C, it will cause the engine oil to break down prematurely, which means the engine oil can't protect your engine between services.  The lack of engine oil protection can lead to premature engine wear. There are two ways to combat this premature engine wear. One is to reduce the time between services, or you can install an engine oil cooler.

We have designed a simple and very effective Oil Cooler Kit that doesn't look out of place sitting at the front of your i30N. Our aim is to design the kit to be easily installed, with no cutting, and can still be easily serviced by a dealership.

We've carefully selected top-quality components from Vibrant Performance, Speedflow, Gates, Merlin Motorsports, and Hyundai to build this Oil Cooler Kit, aiming to build a product that you can trust.

PRODUCT FEATURES 

Cooler designed & made in-house: This product is completely designed by Impossible Fab and manufactured in our Sydney factory. We have sourced the best components from around the world including Merlin Motorsport in the UK, Vibrant Performance in Canada, and Speedflow in Australia.

Easy installation: From working on performance cars for such a long time we have gained a distaste for hard or confusing parts (kits) to install. Over the years we have been dumped with poorly fitting products way too many times.

This makes it so important to us that we design parts that you won't struggle to install. 
Hence, we've specifically designed this kit to be incredibly simple to fit, requiring a relatively low level of mechanical skill for fitting.

No Cutting Required: One of our primary focuses in the design of any of our IFX products is ensuring seamless compatibility without necessitating any cutting or removal of existing parts unless they're being replaced. The IFX i30N Oil Cooler Kit aligns perfectly with this approach; it can be effortlessly installed using basic hand tools, without the need for any drilling or cutting.

OEM Finish, Powder-Coated in Textured Black & Wet Look Black:  Our goal is to ensure that the oil cooler seamlessly blends in when viewing the car from the front. Using the textured black on the ends of the oil cooler provides a sleek, plastic-like appearance and combined with the wet look black brackets, it makes it look that little bit more special.

High-Pressure Oil Hose: We use Gates high-pressure hoses and quality Australian-made Speedflow fittings. We've selected to use high-quality parts to ensure that our products will stand the test of time.

OEM Oil Filter: It's important to us to ensure that our customers can still use the factory oil filter. We understand that a lot of you still have your car serviced at a dealership, therefore we've specifically designed the kit to accommodate the OEM Hyundai oil filter. This ensures a hassle-free experience when servicing your vehicle at the dealership.

Thermostat Sandwich Plate: Cold weather poses challenges for engine warm-up, potentially causing damage if the engine remains too cold. To combat this, we've incorporated a thermostat sandwich plate into our design. In colder climates, it's crucial for the engine oil to reach its operating temperature.
Without a thermostat, the engine oil would take considerably longer to warm up, and in certain climates, it may not even reach the necessary operating temperatures, which may cause premature engine wear.
